You might notice that our website was not accessible for quite an extended period of time. This wasn’t our fault, although it was a very unpleasant and unexpected situation. Let me explain.
On October 17, we received an email from the Russian company (I will not name it for obvious reasons), which provides internet hosting for the project’s website. They informed us that the website will be turned off on November 17 unless we pay the year’s rent before that. This is a standard procedure. During the whole of that month, we were trying to find a way to pay them but with no success for the apparent reason (current US and European trade sanctions against Russia, which restrict any payments in Russian Rubles). On November 17, the project’s website was turned off. Since that moment, we tried to move it to European web hosting.
On December 3, we finally managed to do so, but tuning the site into a workable state for new hosting took some more time. Thus, the project’s website was restored only today.
Regardless, we hope this has not caused you insurmountable obstacles.
